Before i do go on to Remember me, i'd just like to say that i didnt purchase this book and while i am grateful that my aunt bought it for me cuz i gave her confessions of a shopaholic, this book is majorly sucking. Siriusly.
Remember Me? Ok so the book starts out with Lexi smart being 25 and out with her friends drinking, but when she goes out to hail a cab, she falls down a flight of stairs and hits her head. Lexi wakes up in the hospital to find that she is 28, married, rich, and boss of the company she works for (it COULD happen i guess). It turns out that Lexi didnt hit her head hailing a cab but crashed her mercedes five days earlier, except, she cant remember that. So Lexi is missing 3 years of her life and is determined to get her memories back by living her life that she finds her self in. Lexi wants to carry on being the boss of her job and finds that she doesnt know how to do her job (SHOCKER) and that she is the "bitch-boss from- hell" bum-bum-bum. Throughout the whole book i keep reading, "oh my god. you don't remember saying this?" "oh my god you honestly don't remember your secret project you've been working on?" NO BITCH SHE DOESNT FUCKING REMEMBER! THATS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE FIRST THREE CHAPTERS!!!!!!! Its like the characters have no idea that amnesia means that you've LOST your MEMORIES and have no idea who you are. I have no idea how Lexi is supposed to go on to working as the boss of her company WHEN SHE DOESNT EVEN REMEMBER WHY SHE WENT FOR THE POSITION IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! i somehow doubt a company would bring you back to work, being all "Oh my god, Lexi, do you remember mr. whatever face? last week we we're supposed to be making a deal with him? how can you not remember?" oOo i get it! SHE HAS AMNESIA AND CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! honestly...no... wait... THIS IS JUST A JOKE LEXI IS PLAYING ON ALL THE OTHER CHARACTERS AND THE AUDIENCE! ah. well played Lexi...well played... >_>
I've just been informed by the voices inside my head that its not a joke....Lexi really DOES have amnesia... the only problem is that all the other characters are total morons... I dont know if i want to finish this book... i have about 90 pages left (reading the UK version) and i'm not sure how much more i can take of all the stupidity.

Stuck in my head omg.
I have like half a page more to write and i need a closing transition and a conclusion and i'll be done and i can email my paper to my teacher. I'm really glad this semester is over. Since i dropped my first class ever i've been like really worried about my GPA and stuff and i hope i can bring it up next semester. I'm going to be taking Intro to Stats II, Developmental Psychology, ummm Spanish I, and... European history or something. i really dread that class since A. its a history class and B. its a gordon rule class meaning that i have to write. papers. really long papers. During winter break i hope to:
1. Catch up on my reading list. so far i am up to like 64 books and pdfs that i need to read (gah and Hunted comes out in march!)
2. Watch the dvds i bought (Animaniacs, Paris, Je'taime; and Fairy Tale: A True Story are on top of the list since i havent seen them before)
3. See friends.
4. Fix iTunes music stuff
5. Catch up on TV (Heroes)
6. back up files (can never be too careful with your computer if you are clumsy)
7. Find place for books and dvds to live together in harmony
8. Find gifts
9. Find letter (WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO!?)
10. Clean (put clothes away.)
Ha. putting my clothes away is like last thing on my mind hahaha.

Anyway i checked out what textbooks i needed for my classes and almost had a heart attack. One book is going to cost me $100 and thats the used price. Then i am hoping i can use my sister's stats book. And then the History of Ideas teach wants me to get like 5 paperback books. Including Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Its like the Fish is coming back to haunt me every fall semester (Last fall i needed a copy of Siddhartha and i couldnt find my sister's copy that was like a hardcover so i had to buy a new one)
So now i went insane looking for my copy of Frankenstein. Forgetting that i put everything in alphabetical order i search in my M section( yea right cuz i would really put Frankenstein next to twilight.) and then go to my bookshelf in the dining room muttering about extra credit and evil Fishkin hoping i didnt give her the book. So then i go back and try looking again, this time searching in the S's and i find it. I futilely searched for important passages highlighted or maybe a post it note note. But thats impossible since i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
So that saves me...five bucks hooray for me. I still have to spend like 30 bucks on lab notebook carbon copy thing and Delgado's manual thing. Plus the Orgo book that hasn't been assigned yet. And i swear to God if my prof says we need a clicker and he holds up one that i dont have i am going to make a scene about how i have already spent close to 80 dollars on two (one that we hardly ever used) and that if he expects me to buy another one that is a glorified attendence checker then he is NUTS. He can take my attendance the old fashioned way thank you very much. I am not made of money. (Although i hope i can hide behind a brand new laptop-- either called Yue if its a sony or Kero-chan if its a HP-- while saying all this)
